Eric Maurer is a theater veteran and film director. His credits include many stage production and several feature films. He is the director of the Michigan based film production Killzone and was the assistant director of Mosquito, which was also shot in Michigan. In Evil Genius' Witchunter, Maurer portrays the lead character Jack Juneau. He is an unwilling hero, thrown into a web of sin that nobody believes exists.

In Living Dead World Maurer portrays Federal Marshall Ryan Thomas, in charge of transporting the nefarious Dirty Sanchez (Michael Reed) across state lines. When a meteorite explosion turns most of the Mid-West into undead cannibals, he has to decide if he can trust Sanchez enough to join forces against the zombie horde.
